An important point to keep in mind is the SPF value of a sunscreen: the higher this figure, the stronger and longer lasting a protection. Although an important indicator, SPF is not necessarily all-inclusive. This only concerns the protection against UVB light, which causes burning in the form of red spots. Another factor to take into account is the PA value. This also ensures protection against UVA radiation. So always look closely at the SPF and PA of any sunscreen you buy.
