Compared to other gels I tried in the K beauty sphere, this one is SUPER THICK and feels really occlusive - which can be good, to a certain extend, but I would only recommend it if your skin has a very high absorption rate. Mine tends to saturate quite fast and needs time to gently absorb even liquid texture, so it's not the best fit. \nThe soothing part is still there, but I was hoping to swap the sleeping mask for this one (as it comes in a bigger tube) and... I'm definitely not. I'll use it little by little, when I feel my skin needs a super strong hug :)"}

This is a really good winter skin barrier formulation. I bought it for its calming effects against the wind (especially in The Hague!). It's been compared favourably to a much more expensive Dr Jart product. I recommend it for sensitive and oily skin as a good quality moisturiser that protects. It goes on and sinks in really easily and is not at all greasy.
